Problem
While traveling to different states or countries, it is difficult to find local hidden gems to eat at. Instead of eating at overpriced tourist traps
+
Solve
To create an app that focuses on local restaurants for small businesses. Therefore we are stimulating the economy and supporting small, local businesses
+
User Empathy
I can personally empathizes with the user, because while traveling it is very difficult to find hidden local restaurants. Usually we ask our hotel or B&B

Competitor Research
Competitors and why they are competitors
Zomato – They are a competitor because It lets you search and discover restaurants to eat out or order in from, it has photos, reviews, menus, rating and you can use the map. It is also available in a lot of countries along with the USA.
Open Table- This website/app is my competitor because it has many places you can choose from where ever you are, as well as a reservation option. You just select the date and time you want to go eat somewhere and it will give you all the restaurants with available slots open. This one has photos, reviews and percentages for recommendations
Door Dash -They are a competitor because they offer food delivery along with a pick-up option. They do have local restaurants available but not many. Most of the restaurants that are offered on door dash are chain restaurants.

Competitor Analysis
From my competitor analysis research I learned that most of my competitors offer delivery services. In conclusion I will be adding delivery to my app.

Brand Standards
Color Pallete
_
I went with the color red for the primary color because according to research the color red is supposed to convey warmth and attribute to increasing appetite.

User Testing
During my user testing, I learned that:
• Every user mentioned it was easy to login. But most preferred the Facebook or google login option.
• Most users did not know you could swipe back and instead looked for back buttons.
• I needed back buttons on all my pages. So I implemented those changes.
